I've been researching certain vaults around that area, the increase in quakes and the presence of stations in that area accordingly starting in the mid '70's. It is well documented all up to now, you should look at the current data over past 6-7 years or so.  I'm intrigued by this bro, can you please post some links?  I know NZ had its worst earthquake in upper north island (Napier) around 1930's then in 2011 we had our worst which was Christchurch (chch pronounced chair chair, its kiwi slang bro) then they had a sizeable one centred in Culverden which affected Kaikoura that was 2016. You could start from here, I had to dig into all kinds of archives, those links are on my old pc.     I didn't do any in debt shit, I just looked for increase in activity, as mentioned, it looks a lot like the observing stations were put there just before the increase, can't be absolutely sure though. I started with a PDF on this event from 1978, by Russel Robinson, Geophys. J. try this one www.geonet.org.nz/about/earthquake/statisticsthey seem to come in waves, we had a few solid ones a few months back but its been quiet recently... If you look at those stats though, there are more smaller ones in the last 30 odd years but its the 6-7 recter scale quakes which are the damagers we only had 15 since 1960 and if they are not centred near a city and shallow they don't do much except land reforming (new lakes etc) |

Obviously it's not confined to that specific area, it's the volume in various areas which are increasing together. It's not an isolated event, that's why I am looking, actually keeping eye out for more patterns, tbh, too much on plate already (no pun). That's why I follow the likes of Dabhoo and BP, not cause I am hanging on their lips, but sometimes they come up with solid shit, well concerning these anomalies etc. But it's hard to filter out what's actually all together real and not, like all that rabbit hole shit. Anyway, that's why I post these topics. |
