To me that would have to be "The Expanse". My word that show deals it out in spades.

The series starts a few hundred years in the future. Where Mars is colonized. Ceres, Vesta, Ganymade, etc have outpost on them. The asteroid belt is mined for water and minerals. 

Suddenly, from deep space comes the "proto molecule". And alien life form of sorts, and all hell breaks loose. Shit gets real, real fast. 

So far 3 seasons. With Amazon picking up the series because, like normal, SyFy decided to cancel. Due mainly to lack of viewing on their TV channel, even though it has HIGH rankings in streaming video. 

The series focus's on Miller, a private detective, sent to find a missing woman. Well I won't spoil it for the rest of you guys, but I think you should really give it a chance if you are into Sci-Fi. It's a really good series.

That Opera I will check out, the other thing I will leave as is, If I'd watch all the shows on stream like that I would have no use for the Flix and the Prime, I kinda enjoy the wait tbh.. lol... But thx for the tip, ha!

I don't pay for TV at all. We use that site to watch all the series that are not on over the air antenna. Also for movies. I don't watch movies still in theatres, as cam quality always sucks. I wait until they come out on DVD, then watch them there.

***Please Note***

Changed the Title into "the Expanse" as a result I created a separate board for "Best Sci-Fi series ever". I liked the idea Mr.Zorg presented here and figured that a (sub)board would have more order in relation to discussions about various series, otherwise it'll all go into one thread creating chaos.
