I will try to add to this over time, I have bits and pieces around on the subject, I feel this video has good points but also from memory a few inaccuracies too. I can break it down sometime but the guts of it is there were several pre-polynesian groups here before the maori arrived and these people have interwoven with both maori, polynesian and europeans but there are still traces of them today hence the red hair We know the Sumerians were in Sth America around 3500 BC (Fuenta Magna bowl), and the polynesians around 1000 ad before Columbus www.otago.ac.nz/profiles/otago015779.html There was obviously a fair bit more travelling around done than what was originally thought. |
